QUALIFICATIONS
Due to the nature of this class you need a certain knowledge base prior to this type of clinic.
Prior climbing experience: Figure 8 Knot & proper belay techniques. These can be learned at your local rock climbing gym.

GEAR
You will need your own gear in order to participate in the class. Ice Climbing specific gear (Helmet, Ice Tools, Crampons, Harness, and Mountaineering Boots) can be rented from Peabody’s ($20). If you need to rent please reserve prior to the event to assure we have gear for you. Plan to be outside the majority of the day so please dress appropriately (winter jacket, snow pants, hats, gloves, etc).

WEATHER
Due to the nature of ice climbing, the clinic is very weather dependent. If case of unsafe conditions, the event will be canceled at least two days prior.
