This clinic will teach you how to build anchors typically used in ice climbing scenarios experienced in Midwestern climbing destinations.

CURRICULUM
Anchor fundamentals (SERENE)
Constructing anchors using ice screws
Constructing anchors using trees and other natural protection
Build a V Thread

QUALIFICAITONS
Due to the nature of this class you need a certain knowledge base prior to this type of clinic, including:
1. Familiarity with basic climbing techniques including belaying and knots, such as figure 8.
2. Outdoor climbing experience or plans to venture outside.

One 7-8mm cordelette ~15 feet. (ie anchor building cordellette)  
Two 48 inch nylon runner/sling
Two locking carabiners
Two non-locking carabiners
Two quickdraws
